3SC

3SC is a not-for-profit partnership that unites a range of innovative organisations across civil society to bid for and deliver public service contracts. 3SC has a unique approach in the management and delivery of contracts within the public sector as we recognise that whilst civil society organisations have the experience, knowledge and skills to successfully deliver services at a local level, they often lack the opportunity to secure those contracts, because individually they often cannot bid and deliver on the scale that is required. We therefore champion a collaborative approach across the sector, enhancing value and efficiency within the contracting process to deliver excellent social outcomes.

We support the start-up, development and growth of social enterprises and provide a bespoke service adapted to each client's needs, including idea generation, advice on legal structures, business planning, marketing and a social enterprise specific high-growth model exclusively developed by our company.

As thought leaders on social enterprise development, we are consulted by Local Authorities, Primary Care Trusts, and NHS Foundation Trusts as they seek to implement the government's agenda on social enterprise externalisations. We are advisors to Royal Bank of Scotland/Nat West and our social innovations are being supported by The Royal Society of Arts.

The company has grown rapidly. In 2010 our company was placed 23rd in the RBS SE100 - Top 100 Social Enterprises in the UK and we have continued to experience exceptional growth. There is much interest in our approaches as we offer innovative solutions to both employment creation within the Civil Society and hands-on support to the public sector as they look to spin-out services and reduce costs.
