National Retail Consumer Society Conference
Eastwood Hall, Nottingham - 27 February - 1 March 2009
The retail consumer sector is going through a period of considerable change. In keeping with
our record over recent years the Conference is designed to bring together those actively
involved in the governance of our movement. The conference discusses key issues that will
impinge on the future direction of all retail consumer societies in the UK.
I am pleased to indicate that the current list of speakers include:

- Alan Miller - Group General Manager, Information Services, The Midcounties Co-operative
The well established and successful format of recent conferences will be followed with the
programme being designed to allow for maximum delegate participation. It is essential that
representatives of all retail consumer societies are able to articulate their views at a forum
that is open and transparent and in keeping with our democratic traditions.
