The first hotel in Bournemouth, opening in 1938, The Royal Bath is situated right on the seafront on the picturesque Dorset South Coast. Lovingly refurbished after a fire destroyed a third of the hotel in 1979, The Royal Bath has been operating as the popular luxury hotel we see today ever since.

Bournemouth is the gateway to the south coast of England and the West Country and boasts seven miles of golden sands. The cosmopolitan city centre is only a short walk from the hotel and has all the ingredients to enhance your stay during CBCE 2009 – a vast variety of shops, restaurants and buzzing nightlife. If that’s all too much there is of course the endless countryside with beautiful award-winning gardens.
Further afield, you can explore the rolling Dorset countryside - classic Hardy Country, or head for Salisbury or the New Forest.
How to get there:
By Road
From London or the M25, take the M3 westwards. Follow the M27, A31 and A338 to Bournemouth and then the signs to the city centre. The hotel is right on the seafront.
Portsmouth is 40 miles away to the east, Salisbury 25 miles and Swindon 40 miles to the north.
Hotel parking is restricted to 70 spaces. Overflow parking is arranged in the nearby NCP by our valets. For CBCE2009 we have negotiated a special conference parking charge of £15 for the entire event (3 days).
